About the Role

We are looking for a senior R&D; / NPD Power Electronics professional for our Mumbai location to drive product innovation, technology development, and new product introduction in UPS, inverter, and lithium battery applications.

The candidate should have a strong background in power electronics product development and the ability to translate customer and market requirements into commercially viable products.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technology development and NPD projects for UPS, inverter, and lithium battery applications.
- Develop cutting-edge and high-efficiency power conversion and inverter solutions.
- Work on DC-DC, DC-AC, AC-DC, inverter, charging, and power-management systems.
- Develop solutions integrating Lithium Battery, BMS, ESS/BESS, and energy-storage technologies.
- Convert product requirements into technical specifications, architecture, and development plans.
- Lead prototype development, design verification, validation, reliability testing, and product qualification.
- Conduct technical benchmarking and evaluate competing technologies and products.




- Identify and resolve complex product-level technical issues.
- Coordinate with Embedded, PCB, Mechanical, Testing, Quality, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams.
- Support customer-specific product development and technical discussions where required.
- Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, reliability, performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Guide and mentor R&D; team members on product development activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 12–20 years of experience in Power Electronics R&D; / Product Development.
- Strong experience in UPS, inverter, power conversion, or energy-storage products.
- Hands-on experience in hardware design, prototyping, testing, and product validation.
- Exposure to Lithium Battery, BMS, ESS/BESS is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of power electronics architecture, semiconductor devices, converters, inverter topologies, and control systems.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and improving power electronics products.
- Strong project ownership, technical leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation

20 LPA – 40 LPA, based on experience, technical expertise, relevant industry exposure, and performance.
