Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Siemens RTU / SCADA Engineer with hands-on experience in Siemens SICAM A8000 RTU,SCC/SCADA software, and Siemens PAS software. The candidate will be responsible for configuration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of RTU/SCADA systems for electrical automation and substation applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure, program, test, and commission Siemens SICAM A8000 RTU systems.
- Develop and modify SCADA/HMI applications using Siemens SCC.
- Work with SCC/SCADA software for monitoring, control, alarms, and data acquisition.
- Configure and troubleshoot Siemens PAS (Power Automation System).
- Perform RTU SCADA communication and integration.
- Configure communication protocols such as IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850, Modbus, and other relevant protocols.
- Conduct FAT, SAT, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Diagnose communication, hardware, software, and integration-related issues.
- Coordinate with site teams, clients, and engineering teams during installation and commissioning.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration files, test reports, and commissioning reports.




- Provide technical support for existing RTU/SCADA systems and resolve site-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in RTU/SCADA/automation projects.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens SICAM A8000 RTU is mandatory.
- Working experience with Siemens SCC/SCADA is required.
- Experience with Siemens PAS is required.
- Valuable understanding of substation automation and electrical control systems.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networking.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project/client sites for testing and commissioning.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

Candidates with experience in substation automation, power utilities, electrical SCADA, RTU commissioning, and Siemens-based automation projects will be preferred.
