The company is driven by a philosophy of “growing to serve & serving to grow,” focusing on long-term partnerships and customer success.Role Description The Information Technology Security Specialist role is a full-time remote position responsible for protecting the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and data. Daily activities include monitoring network and system security, managing security tools, and responding to security incidents and alerts. The specialist will assess vulnerabilities, perform risk analysis, and implement security controls for applications, networks, and endpoints. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining security policies, supporting compliance efforts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure secure configuration and operation of IT assets used in the computer rental services.



The role also involves educating team members on security best practices and contributing to continuous improvement of the organization’s overall security posture.QualificationsStrong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including threat assessment, risk management, and incident response.Hands-on experience with Network Security, such as firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure network architecture.Knowledge of Application Security, including secure coding principles, vulnerability scanning, and remediation for web and enterprise applications.Broad understanding of Information Technology environments, including operating systems, servers, endpoints, and cloud or virtualized infrastructure.Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent) and familiarity with security frameworks and standards.Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate incidents and implement effective security solutions.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
