- Develop and manage the annual internal audit program.
- Conduct process, system, product, and compliance audits.
- Coordinate external certification and customer audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings and non-conformities.
- Verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
4. Non-Conformance & Corrective Action
- Manage NCR/NCRB, CAPA, deviation, concession, and corrective-action processes.
- Lead structured root-cause analysis using methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, and other appropriate problem-solving tools.
- Ensure containment actions are implemented immediately for critical quality issues.
- Monitor recurring defects and drive permanent corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate customer complaints and ensure timely investigation and response.
5. New Product Development & Quality Planning
- Participate in contract review, feasibility review, and recent product introduction (NPI).
- Support preparation and review of process flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, inspection plans, and quality requirements.

6. Manufacturing Quality Assurance
- Ensure effective controls for incoming, in-process, and final product verification.
- Ensure proper identification, traceability, preservation, and status control of aerospace components.
- Monitor manufacturing quality performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure non-conforming material is properly identified, segregated, controlled, and dispositioned by authorized personnel.
- Ensure critical characteristics and key characteristics are adequately controlled.
7. Supplier Quality
- Establish supplier quality requirements and supplier approval criteria.
- Participate in supplier evaluation, qualification, audits, and performance monitoring.
- Monitor supplier rejection, SCAR, delivery quality, and corrective actions.
- Ensure outsourced processes and special-process suppliers meet customer and aerospace requirements.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Engineering for supplier development.
8. Metrology & Calibration
- Ensure inspection and measuring equipment is properly controlled and calibrated.
