Job Title : Site Asset & Inventory Officer

Job Overview:

Responsible for controlling, monitoring, and maintaining records of site assets, scaffolding materials, painting consumables, tools & tackles, and inventory. Ensure proper inspection, stock verification, material reconciliation, and reporting of deviations to management for effective site control and loss prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular physical inspection of site assets, tools, tackles, machinery, and equipment.
- Maintain proper asset register for site materials, scaffolding items, painting equipment, compressors, tools, etc.
- Verify inward, outward, issued, returned, and balance stock at site.
- Check and reconcile actual consumption of paint, thinner, copper slag, abrasives, consumables, and other materials against issued quantities.
- Monitor scaffolding material movement (pipes, clamps, boards, ladders, fittings, etc.) and verify site stock with storekeeper records.
- Carry out inventory checks and periodic stock audits with site storekeeper.
- Identify shortages, damages, losses, excess consumption, or stock deviations and report the same to management immediately.
- Ensure proper documentation for asset transfer,



material issue/return, and scrap records.
- Prepare daily / weekly / monthly inventory and reconciliation reports.
- Coordinate with Site In-charge, Storekeeper, Project Manager, Accounts, and Management for stock control and asset monitoring.
- Support management during internal audits and physical verification.
- Monitor idle assets and ensure proper utilization of company-owned materials and equipment.
- Check wastage and control misuse of consumables and site materials.
- Report any missing, damaged, or unaccounted assets/materials to management.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures for inventory and asset control.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of inventory management and stock reconciliation
- Basic understanding of scaffolding and industrial painting materials
- Valuable record keeping and reporting skills
- MS Excel / stock register handling
- Audit and verification skills
- Attention to detail and deviation reporting

Qualifications

- Graduate / Diploma (preferred)
- Experience in Industrial Projects / Construction / Painting / Scaffolding field preferreds
