Role & responsibilities

1.1 Ensure that Safety Procedures like Work Permits, LOTO, PPE usage is followed during work

execution at site for Safe working.

1.3 Record all key electrical parameters such as kWh, current (Amps), voltage, and power factor

as per the timelines specified in the SOP.

1.4 Calculate and analyze daily energy consumption to identify any deviations from the normal

trend. Report any abnormalities immediately to the Facility Manager and the client.

1.5 Ensure the healthiness and safety of all tools and tackles before using them on electrical

systems.

1.6 Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) activities for electrical equipment as per the PMP

and as instructed by the Shift Engineer.

1.7 Operate and maintain all electrical systems within the facility to ensure protected and reliable

functioning.

1.8 Ensure uninterrupted power supply to all departments at all times.





1.9 Verify the healthiness of emergency lighting systems and required instruments on a regular

basis.

1.10 Respond immediately to electrical-related calls from any department, resolve the issue

promptly, and update the Shift Engineer.

1.11 Inspect and monitor the condition of all electromechanical equipment, including standby

units.

1.12 Prepare and maintain a list of critical spares, and share it with the Shift Engineer and the

respective area in-charge for timely indenting.

1.13 Escalate issues related to electrical systems to the Shift Engineer and area in-charge

without delay.
