The company sells through direct clients and local business partners in international markets and is expanding its presence across Africa, South East Asia and other emerging economies.Position OverviewHCM Orthocare is looking for a Business Development Executive to drive sales in Africa and emerging markets. This is a client-facing, travel-intensive role, well suited to someone early in an international sales career who wants to build a business in the orthopedic implant export market.Key ResponsibilitiesExperience of selling orthopedic products - Ortho, Trauma, Spine, Neuro implants, External fixtures.Find and develop clients - hospitals, distributors and dealers - across Africa and emerging countries.Bring positive business leads and convert them into confirmed orders and long-term relationships.Train the company's business partners' team in the region on product knowledge and selling technique.Travel to assigned countries in Africa for client visits, product demonstrations and partner support.Meet monthly and yearly sales targets for the assigned territory.Adhere to office discipline and reporting standards.Work towards profitable growth of business in the assigned territory.Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: B.Sc / MBAExperience: 2 years in sales, preferably in orthopedic or medical devicesExperience selling orthopedic products - Ortho, Trauma, Spine, Neuro implants,



External fixtures preferredWilling and able to travel abroadKey Skills & CompetenciesInterest in and aptitude for the orthopedic implant businessGood communication and relationship-building skills with clients and business partnersSelf-motivated, comfortable working independently while travelingBasic negotiation skills and the ability to explain technical product features to distributors and hospital staffWorking English communication skills; a regional African language is an advantageIdeal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is early in their sales career, hungry to build a territory rather than manage one, and comfortable being on the road for large parts of the month. Prior exposure to orthopedic, medical device or pharma sales is a strong plus.
