Role & responsibilities

- Own end-to-end technology/service delivery across multiple projects, programs, accounts, or business units, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, quality, SLAs, and financial targets.
- Develop and execute delivery strategies aligned with business objectives, client expectations, and organizational priorities.
- Lead large, distributed, and cross-functional teams across engineering, product, operations, infrastructure, cloud, and support functions.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for critical delivery, operational, client, and technology issues.
- Establish delivery governance, operating processes, KPIs, SLAs, dashboards, and performance-management mechanisms.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, capacity planning, utilization, margins, and delivery costs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, business leaders, clients, partners, and senior stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, operational excellence, and adoption of Agile/DevOps and modern technology practices.
- Oversee risk, dependency, issue, and change management across complex technology programs.
- Manage third-party vendors, technology partners, contracts, and service providers to ensure delivery performance.
- Support account growth, renewals, solutioning, proposals, RFPs, and recent business opportunities in partnership with sales and business-development teams.
- Define and execute technology transformation and modernization initiatives across cloud, applications, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital platforms.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Develop leadership pipelines, mentor senior managers and delivery leads, and build a high-performance delivery culture.
- Present delivery performance, financials, risks, strategic initiatives, and improvement plans to executive leadership.

Preferred candidate profile

- 8 to 13 years of experience in technology delivery, IT service management, program management,



consulting, digital transformation, or a related technology leadership function.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale technology programs, portfolios, accounts, or complex service-delivery environments.
- Strong experience managing large distributed teams, including senior managers, project managers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management, delivery governance, SLA/KPI management, financial management, and operational excellence.
- Experience managing budgets, margins, utilization, resource planning, and commercial outcomes.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, ITIL, CI/CD, cloud platforms, software development lifecycle, and modern technology delivery practices.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, digital transformation, application modernization, data/analytics, and enterprise technology environments is preferred.
- Excellent executive communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, presentation, and escalation-management skills.
- Strong commercial orientation with experience in account growth, proposals, RFPs, renewals, solutioning, and client retention.
- Proven ability to identify delivery risks early and drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing vendors, strategic partners, contracts, and geographically distributed delivery teams.
- Strong leadership capabilities with demonstrated success in coaching managers, developing talent, and building high-performing teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM is preferred, particularly for roles involving P&L;, commercial responsibility, and strategic account management.
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL 4, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum, or relevant cloud certifications are advantageous.
- Candidates from large IT services organizations, global technology companies, consulting firms, or enterprise technology environments with a strong record of delivery ownership will be preferred.
