Research Lead
Location- Gurgaon
About the Role
The Research Lead - Traditional Medicine & Integrative Health will play a critical role in advancing evidence-based research on traditional systems of medicine, particularly Ayurveda, and evaluating their potential contribution to preventive and integrative healthcare.
The successful candidate will lead research initiatives, assess scientific evidence, identify opportunities for integration with modern healthcare systems, and translate findings into actionable insights for policymakers, researchers, and public health practitioners.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Educational Qualifications
One of the following qualifications from a Tier I or Tier II institution:
- BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)
- MD (Ayurveda)
- Postgraduate qualification in Ayurveda or Traditional Medicine
- Master's degree in Clinical Research, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related disciplines with significant experience in Ayurveda/traditional medicine research
Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in:
- Ayurveda Research
- Traditional Medicine Research
- Integrative Medicine
- Clinical Research
- Evidence Synthesis
- Public Health Research
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Ayurveda and traditional systems of medicine.
- Ability to assess traditional health practices through a scientific and evidence-based lens.
- Experience in literature reviews, clinical research, evidence synthesis, and research methodologies.
- Solid capability to evaluate the quality and limitations of scientific evidence.
- Understanding of integrative healthcare concepts and evidence-supported traditional medicine approaches.
- Excellent analytical, research, and scientific writing skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external experts.
