Lead day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work aligns with technical drawings and project specifications. Act as the primary technical advisor, interpreting plans for junior engineers and resolving complex engineering issues or design discrepancies. Implement strict Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) plans, including testing materials like concrete and verifying structural integrity. Create and monitor detailed work schedules, identifying milestones and adjusting for potential delays. Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols to protect the workforce and public. Liaise between design teams (architects, planners), clients, subcontractors, and government authorities for permits and progress updates. Allocate labour and equipment, track material usage to prevent waste, and manage the project budget to avoid cost overruns. Maintain accurate site diaries,



daily logs, and comprehensive progress reports for upper management. Deep understanding of structural analysis, soil mechanics (geotechnical engineering), reinforced concrete, and up-to-date construction methods. Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers and site staff. Quick thinking to address unforeseen onsite challenges, such as unexpected soil conditions or material shortages. Understanding project costs, contract management, and the financial impact of site decisions. Diploma/Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
