The Video Editor at OQ is responsible for producing engaging and visually appealing video content that aligns with client briefs and brand objectives. This role involves editing videos and animations primarily for social media, as well as additional video assets such as website videos, YouTube content, and brand films.

The Video Editor collaborates closely with marketing teams and reports regularly to managers, ensuring consistency in visual tone and style while staying current with social media trends, algorithms, and video editing technologies. This role also requires proactivity in researching recent editing techniques and tools, including AI, to continually enhance video quality and output efficiency

1. Video Editing & Visualization

• Creating attractive videos/animations based on briefs in a timely manner for social media content and other assets for assigned brands.

• Working closely with the marketing team to understand briefs and help by visualizing assets to communicate ideas in the best way.

• Create video frames for all the videos.

• Understanding internal and client feedback and improving future videos and output efficiency.

• Turnaround Time (TAT)

• Following company process to deliver your video work efficiently

• Video editing for additional work based on assignments like website videos, YouTube videos, brand videos and other AVs.

• Using professional tools and AI to improve videos

2. Moodboard Creation and Visual Tone Setting

• Setting the tone & direction for videos to set consistency and direction in video content for existing and new brands when and if required.

• Updating editing styles, learning new techniques, staying up to date with new effects and transitions to stay fresh and in sync with video trends and philosophies

3. Research

• Staying in touch with

- social media trends

- algorithm

- consumer psychology

• Constant research on the use of different editing styles for different brands

• New tools and AI for improvement

4. Teamwork

• Understanding internal and client feedback and improving for future video work
