Job Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising construction/interior activities at the project site, ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The role involves coordination with contractors, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders to achieve timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Construction /Interiors

Management

- Supervise day-to-day construction/interior activities at the site.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor quality of construction/interior materials and workmanship.
- Verify dimensions, levels, and alignment before execution.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and contractors.

Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction/Interiors

Project Monitoring & Planning

- Track project progress against approved schedules.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Monitor manpower deployment and resource utilization.
- Assist in project planning and work sequencing.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned activities.

Quality Control

- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
- Maintain quality records, checklists, and inspection reports.
- Report non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.

Quantity Surveying & Billing Support

- Measure executed work quantities.
- Verify contractor bills and work measurements.




- Maintain records of material consumption and work progress.
- Assist in preparation of BOQs and quantity estimations.

Safety Compliance

- Ensure adherence to site safety regulations and procedures.
- Promote safe working practices among workers and subcontractors.
- Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately.
- Participate in safety meetings and inspections.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain site records, drawings, and project documentation.
- Prepare daily site reports and progress updates.
- Record instructions, approvals, and site observations.
- Coordinate submission of reports to project management.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2-5 years of relevant site execution experience (or as per company requirement).

Knowledge of construction//Interiors

- methods, materials, and site practices.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and construction//Interiors

- documentation.

Salary
