Job Title: Service Coordinator

Role Summary

The Service Coordinator will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring service activities related to installation, commissioning, breakdown support, and preventive maintenance of industrial machinery. The role ensures seamless coordination between customers, service engineers, spare parts teams, and internal departments to maintain high service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Success in this role looks like:

- Timely deployment and closure of service calls.
- Productive coordination between field and internal teams.
- Accurate service documentation and reporting.
- Improved response time and reduced machine downtime.
- Strong customer communication and follow-up.

This role supports organizational growth by strengthening after-sales service operations and enhancing long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate installation, commissioning, breakdown, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Plan and deploy service engineers based on project priorities and urgency.
- Track and monitor open service calls until closure.
- Coordinate with spare parts, stores, and logistics for timely availability of materials.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding service status and updates.
- Maintain detailed service documentation including job reports and customer feedback.
- Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly service MIS reports.




- Monitor service KPIs and escalate delays or critical issues to management.
- Support service billing and invoice documentation.

QualificationsEducation

- Graduate / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Techno-Commercial background preferred
- PMP certification (added advantage)

Experience

- 3-6 years of experience in service coordination, project coordination, or after-sales operations in industrial or packaging machinery.

Skills

- Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
- Very good Excel and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple service activities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of ERP / CRM systems.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

- Experience in packaging machinery/automation / capital equipment industry.
- Exposure to project execution or site coordination.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
