Job Title: Dispatch Supervisor

Job Summary

The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily dispatch operations of finished goods from the warehouse to distributors, retailers, and customers. The role ensures accurate order processing, timely delivery, proper documentation, and coordination with logistics partners to maintain smooth dispatch operations in an FMCG workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage daily dispatch operations of finished goods.
- Ensure timely loading and dispatch of orders as per delivery schedules.
- Verify dispatch documentation including invoices, delivery challans, and transport documents.
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and transport teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory movement and maintain dispatch records in ERP/WMS systems.
- Ensure proper vehicle loading , packaging, and product handling to prevent damage.
- Plan and schedule transport vehicles for efficient deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and quality guidelines .
- Supervise dispatch staff, loaders, and drivers during loading operations.
- Track dispatch status and resolve any delivery or logistics issues .
- Maintain daily dispatch reports,



stock movement reports, and transport logs .
- Conduct periodic checks to ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance where applicable.
- Coordinate with transporters to ensure on-time deliveries and route optimization .

- Transport utilization efficiency

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse or dispatch operations , preferably in FMCG.

Skills & Competencies

- Knowledge of dispatch procedures and logistics operations :

- Basic knowledge of ERP/Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) :

- Strong coordination and team supervision skills :

- Good documentation and record keeping ability

- Problem-solving and time management skills

- Ability to work under tight dispatch schedules

Working Conditions

- Work in warehouse or distribution center environment.
- May require working in shift operations depending on dispatch schedules.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
