Key Responsibilities

- Student Safety & Discipline :

- Ensure safe boarding and de-boarding of students from school buses.

- Maintain discipline of students during transit.

- Ensure students are handed over only to authorized parents/guardians, where applicable.

- Route & Bus Management :

- Assist in monitoring bus routes, timings, and stoppages.

- Coordinate with drivers and bus attendants for punctual arrival and departure.

- Report route deviations, delays, or issues to the Transport In-Charge.

- Attendance & Records :

- Maintain daily transport attendance records of students.

- Keep updated lists of students, routes, and contact details.

- Assist in maintaining vehicle-related documents if required.

- Coordination & Communication :

- Act as a link between transport staff, school administration, and parents.

- Communicate transport-related notices or changes to concerned stakeholders.

- Assist during emergencies or breakdown situations.

- Vehicle Safety Compliance :

- Ensure buses follow school safety norms (speed, cleanliness, seating capacity).

- Report any unsafe driving, vehicle defects, or misconduct immediately.





- Assist during transport inspections and audits.

- Support Duties :

- Support transport operations during events, trips, or special school activities.

- Perform any other transport-related duty assigned by the management.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Good communication and coordination skills
- Basic record-keeping ability
- Calm and responsible behavior
- Ability to handle students politely and firmly
- Awareness of safety norms and discipline

Educational Qualification

- Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass

Experience

- 1-3 years of experience in school transport or similar field preferred

Working Hours

- As per school transport schedule (morning & afternoon shifts)
- Extra hours during events or emergencies as required

Code of Conduct

- Must follow school rules, child safety policies, and confidentiality norms strictly.

Job Types : Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
