Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Data Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in LATAM. Our client is one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing job sites.

The project : Team builds and runs the core marketplace analytics data products and platform (Snowflake/dbt/Dagster, pipelines, models, observability) that other teams rely on for hiring, performance, and marketplace insights.

- REQUIREMENTS:

- Solid knowledge of SQL for querying, transforming, validating, and optimizing data for analytics, reporting, and pipeline workflows.

- Experience with Python in building scalable data pipelines, automation scripts, and data processing workflows.

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake designing and maintaining cloud data warehouse structures, tables, and performant data models.

- Knowledge of dbt for developing modular data transformations, testing, and documentation within modern ELT workflows.

- Familiarity with AWS cloud services supporting scalable data storage, processing, and pipeline orchestration.

- Understanding of ETL/ELT, building reliable workflows for extracting, transforming, loading, and validating data from multiple sources.

- Understanding of data observability with experience in monitoring pipeline health, troubleshooting workflow issues, and proactively improving reliability and data quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide technical execution and analytics leadership in support of the ADP Engineering team’s (part of the Central Analytics Organization) workstreams within the marketplace domain and related initiatives.
- Build scalable pipelines using Python and dbt to support efficient data transformation and integration.
- Design and maintain database tables, Snowflake schemas, and data models to support reporting and analytics.
- Develop robust ETL/ELT workflows for extracting, transforming, and loading data while maintaining data quality and consistency.




- Improve pipeline reliability through monitoring, observability, and proactive issue resolution.
- Build dashboards and deliver updates that enable actionable insights and support business decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally to align on requirements, communicate progress, and ensure transparency across initiatives.
