Kemco is an industrial water treatment company with manufacturing and distribution operations in India. We are hiring an in-house accountant to support our finance function, with a focus on inventory, manufacturing, and operational accounting.

This role is suited for someone who understands basic accounting but is also willing to think through how numbers connect to real business activity.

What You Will Do

Core Accounting

- Record transactions in Tally (purchases, sales, receipts, payments)
- Maintain accurate books and ledgers
- Assist in GST/VAT filings and compliance
- Support payroll and basic statutory work

Inventory & Manufacturing Support

- Maintain stock and manufacturing journals
- Track raw material consumption and finished goods
- Assist in landed cost calculations (imports, duties, logistics)
- Support warehouse stock reconciliation and adjustments

Reporting & Coordination

- Assist in preparing financial reports (P&L;, balance sheet, etc.)
- Coordinate with internal teams for expense tracking and documentation
- Work with logistics partners (freight forwarders, CHA) for accounting entries

What We Are Looking For





- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Working knowledge of Tally (or similar software)
- Some exposure to inventory or manufacturing accounting (preferred, not mandatory)
- Basic understanding of GST and compliance

We are specifically looking for someone who:

- Notices when numbers don’t match and tries to understand why
- Is willing to ask questions instead of just passing entries
- Can follow a process, but also think beyond it when required

This is a role where you will be trained in manufacturing and cost-related accounting over time.

Important Note

This is not a senior-level role.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
