Job Overview

Key Responsibilities Cluster Management

- Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift 4.x environments :

- Manage Kubernetes clusters, nodes, and networking :

- Ensure high availability and reliability of the OpenShift platform

- Perform upgrades, patching, and cluster maintenance

Performance & Monitoring

- Monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilization :

- Implement performance tuning and scaling strategies :

- Configure monitoring dashboards and alerts for critical system metrics

- Work with Prometheus, Grafana, or similar monitoring tools

Security & Compliance

- Implement security best practices including:

- RBAC

- Network policies

- Secrets management

- Manage SSL/TLS certificates and encryption :

- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards :

- Perform vulnerability patching and security updates

Backup & Disaster Recovery

- Design and implement backup and restore strategies :

- Perform OpenShift workload recovery :

- Conduct disaster recovery drills :

- Maintain DR documentation and recovery procedures

Troubleshooting & Support

- Provide Level 3 support for complex incidents :

- Diagnose issues related to:

- Cluster performance

- Networking

- Application deployments

- Work with Red Hat support for critical production issues

Automation & CI/CD Integration

- Develop automation scripts for cluster operations





- Integrate OpenShift with CI/CD pipelines :

- Support container deployment workflows using tools such as:

- Jenkins

- GitLab

- ArgoCD

- Assist developers with container orchestration best practices

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

- Maintain cluster configuration documentation :

- Document operational procedures and troubleshooting guides :

- Mentor and train junior administrators :

- Share best practices across DevOps and engineering teams

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field :

- 6-8 years of experience in Linux system administration and container platforms

- Strong hands-on expertise in:

- Red Hat OpenShift 4.x :

- Kubernetes :

- Strong knowledge of:

- Linux (RHEL) :

- Networking

- Storage concepts

- Experience with:

- CI/CD tools :

- Automation tools ( Ansible, Helm )

- Monitoring tools ( Prometheus, Grafana )

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with cloud platforms :

- AWS

- Azure

- GCP

- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration certification

- Experience managing large-scale container platforms

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills :

- Ability to manage critical production incidents :

- Excellent communication and documentation skills :

- Team-oriented mindset for working with DevOps, Security, and Development teams

Job Type : Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 6-12 months

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bengaluru, Karnataka
