Job Description_ Accountant

Key Responsibilities :

- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, banking transactions, and financing arrangements.
- Handle tax compliance including VAT, GST, TDS, excise duties, and other automotive sector-related taxes.
- Conduct cost analysis for vehicles, spare parts, inventory, and workshop operations.
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with sales, service, and spare parts departments to track revenues and expenses.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Skills Required :

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.
- Experience in dealership management systems (DMS), ERP, or automotive accounting software.




- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally).
- Analytical mind-set with strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s/CA/CPA is an advantage).
- 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the automobile industry.
- Knowledge of automotive dealership/plant operations is highly desirable.
