Reports To: Finance Manager

Job Purpose

The Accountant is responsible for managing the restaurant’s financial records, ensuring accurate accounting, statutory compliance, cost control, and timely reporting. The role supports smooth financial operations and profitability in a fine-dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Accounting & Financial Records
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / accounting software
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Reconcile bank statements, cash, and POS reports

Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely filing of GST returns and compliance requirements
- Maintain records for audits and statutory inspections
- Handle TDS, PF, ESIC, and other applicable statutory filings (if applicable)
- Process monthly payroll, incentives, and statutory deductions
- Coordinate vendor payments and maintain ageing reports
- Ensure timely payments and proper documentation

Reporting & MIS

- Prepare MIS reports: P&L;, cost reports, variance analysis
- Provide financial data to management for decision-making
- Support internal and external audits




- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GST
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and POS systems

Qualifications & Experience

- Financial accounting, auditing, and financial analysis skills
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Solid organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Job Location - Nariman Point, Mumbai

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
