Job Summary

The Assistant Security Officer supports the Security Officer in maintaining safety, security, and order within the organization’s premises. The role involves monitoring security systems, controlling access, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations

- Assist in implementing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and protocols
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized activities
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems
- Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles

Incident Management

- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms
- Assist in handling theft, trespassing, disturbances, or safety violations
- Report incidents accurately and prepare written incident reports

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, fire safety norms, and emergency procedures
- Assist in evacuation procedures during emergencies or drills




- Identify security risks and report hazards or suspicious activities

Administrative & Support Duties

- Maintain security logs, visitor records, and daily activity reports
- Assist the Security Officer in investigations and audits
- Support training and briefing of security guards when required

Customer Service & Discipline

- Maintain a skilled and courteous approach while dealing with staff and visitors
- Ensure discipline and order within the premises
- Provide guidance to visitors and employees on security-related matters

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification

- Minimum: 10+2 / Higher Secondary (Graduate preferred)
- Preferred Ex-Service Man, Hawaldaar/Naib subedar/Subedar.

Experience

- 4-5 years of experience in security services (preferably in hospitals, corporate offices, or industrial units)

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
