Morning India is a fast-growing Hindi and English daily newspaper group with a strong editorial foundation and an expanding footprint across East and North India. Currently published from Kolkata, Ranchi, and Patna, the group is now expanding into Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

As we scale both our print and digital presence, we are building a high-performance advertisement sales team to unlock government and commercial revenue at scale.

The Opportunity

We are hiring Advertisement Sales Executives and Advertisement Sales Managers across Delhi, Lucknow, and Dehradun.

These roles are designed for professionals who understand the newspaper advertising ecosystem end-to-end — including government advertising (CBC), state directorates, and corporate display business.

If you know how to build access within government departments, PSUs, and corporate marketing teams — and convert that access into sustained advertising revenue — this role is built for you.

Roles Available

Advertisement Sales Executive

- (2-5 years experience in newspaper/media ad sales)
- Prospect, pitch, and close advertising mandates from local and national clients
- Build and manage a portfolio of commercial and government advertisers
- Work with CBC-registered agencies and empanelled accounts
- Execute rate negotiations and ensure timely collections

Advertisement Sales Manager

- (5-10 years experience in newspaper/media ad sales)
- Lead and mentor a city-level sales team
- Drive revenue targets across government and commercial segments
- Build and manage relationships with ministries, PSUs, state departments, and corporate clients




- Own CBC / state government advertising pipelines end-to-end
- Develop strategic partnerships with advertising agencies and media buying houses
- Report directly to the Head of Revenue / Senior Management

What We Are Looking For

Essential

- Relevant experience in newspaper / print media advertisement sales
- Robust understanding of CBC (Central Bureau of Communication) processes, empanelment norms, and release mechanisms
- Active connects within government departments, PSUs, state directorates, and political/administrative networks
- Proven ability to build and close revenue pipelines independently
- Established relationships with advertising agencies, media planners, and corporate marketing teams
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Self-driven, target-oriented mindset with high ownership

Preferred

- Experience in Delhi, Lucknow, or Dehradun markets

Familiarity with :

- UP DIPR / DIPPR systems
- Uttarakhand DIPR processes
- DAVP/CBC Systems & Processes
- Existing advertiser relationships that can be leveraged
