Position: Second Cook

Reports To: Head Chef / Main Chef

Job Summary

The Cook will support the Head Chef in preparing and serving quality food for resort guests. The role includes food preparation, kitchen assistance, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in daily food preparation and cooking

Independent Cooking

Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and spices

Support in breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special guest requirements

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times

Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Help in plating and presentation of food for guests

Assist in stock handling and proper storage of food items

Follow instructions from the Head Chef and management

Working Hours

As per duty roster

Shift timings may vary depending on guest occupancy and resort operations

Salary & Advantages





Monthly Salary: ₹30,000

Salary Payment Date: 10th of every month

Leaves: 3 paid leaves per month

Food: Provided by the resort

Accommodation: Provided by the resort

Eligibility & Skills

Must have professional experience in cooking or working in a commercial kitchen

Knowledge of Indian cuisine (Kerala cuisine preferred)

Ability to work in a team and follow instructions

Physically fit and able to work long hours when required

Willingness to work on weekends and holidays

Code of Conduct

Maintain discipline and professional behavior

Follow kitchen safety and hygiene rules strictly

No mobile phone usage during working hours inside the kitchen

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
