Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tax Consultant role based in Lucknow. The Tax Consultant will manage day-to-day tax compliance and preparation activities for a portfolio of clients, including computing tax liabilities, preparing returns, and ensuring timely filings. The role involves advising clients on tax planning strategies, interpreting relevant tax laws, and identifying opportunities for tax efficiency while maintaining compliance. The Tax Consultant will support and respond to tax audits, prepare necessary documentation, and coordinate with tax authorities as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, staying updated on changes in tax regulations, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver reliable and consistent client service.




Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Tax Planning and Tax Preparation to develop effective strategies and accurately prepare returns.
- Candidates should possess solid expertise in Tax Compliance and Tax Audits to ensure adherence to regulations and manage audit processes.
- Candidates should possess a thorough understanding of Tax Law to interpret statutes, apply relevant provisions, and advise clients confidently.
- Candidates should possess robust analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in common tax and accounting software.
- Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly to clients.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field; professional certifications in taxation or accounting are an advantage.
- Prior experience in tax consulting, public accounting, or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory for strong, motivated applicants.
