Emotion of Life maintains dedicated office spaces for delivering CBT for OCD and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy. The multidisciplinary team includes OCD specialists, therapists, psychologists, counsellors, peer counsellors, and wellness coaches, experienced in diverse OCD subtypes such as contamination, health, religious, checking, harm, sexually intrusive thoughts, existential, and sensorimotor OCD. Role Description This is a full time, on-site Psychologist role based in Agra. The Psychologist will provide individual assessments and evidence-based interventions, including CBT and ERP, for clients with various OCD subtypes and related mental health concerns. Daily responsibilities include conducting intake interviews, developing treatment plans, delivering structured therapy sessions, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The role involves collaborating closely with OCD specialists, therapists, counsellors,



and wellness professionals to ensure integrated care and continuity of treatment. The Psychologist will also contribute to psychoeducation for clients and families, participate in case discussions, and support ongoing research and training initiatives within the institute.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to work with OCD and related anxiety conditions.
- Proficiency in Counseling and Psychological Assessment, including structured interviews and standardized tools.
- Understanding of Medicine and its interface with psychological treatment, with openness to non-pharmacological, therapy-focused approaches.
- Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Relevant clinical experience in CBT and ERP, especially with OCD or anxiety disorders, in hospital, clinic, or mental health settings.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and rapport-building skills with diverse client populations.
- Ability to maintain ethical practice standards, professional boundaries, and accurate case records.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and participating in supervision and continuous learning.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional language skills within India are an advantage.
