Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Business Development Manager role based in the Pune Division, with some flexibility for work from home. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities in debt syndication, private equity, and structured finance, including prospecting, networking, and managing a sales pipeline. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, lenders, and investors, as well as preparing and presenting proposals, pitch decks, and term sheets. The individual will collaborate with advisory and execution teams to understand client requirements, structure solutions, and support deal closure. Day-to-day responsibilities include market research,



competitor analysis, regular client meetings, tracking business metrics, and reporting progress to leadership.
Qualifications

- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and client relationship management.
- Solid understanding of financial products and services, especially debt syndication, private equity, and structured finance.
- Analytical and research skills for market analysis, financial data interpretation, and preparation of business proposals.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including creating and delivering professional pitch materials and reports.
- Negotiation and stakeholder management skills to support deal structuring and closure with clients, lenders, and investors.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in financial services, investment banking, corporate finance, or related business development roles is preferred.
- Proficiency with productivity and CRM tools, and comfort working with spreadsheets and financial models.
- High level of integrity, professional conduct, and commitment to client-focused service.
