We're Hiring: Senior Network Software Engineer - EVPN VXLAN (Data Plane)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic networking team! In this role, you will design, develop, and troubleshoot advanced L2/L3 VPN features on a large-scale Network Operating System (NOS).

Key Responsibilities:

- Core Development: Design and implement EVPN VXLAN features, ensuring seamless Layer 2/Layer 3 connectivity (including E-TREE, E-LAN, P2P, IRB, DCI, and multi-homing).
- Protocols & Routing: Work with routing and tunneling protocols including BGP, OSPF, IGMP, PIM, and Layer 2 bridging (VLAN, STP, ERPS, CFM).
- Silicon & Hardware Debugging: Develop and debug software on Broadcom chipsets (XGS, Jericho1, Jericho2) using CINT scripting.
- Validation & Testing: Validate features and troubleshoot complex network scenarios using packet generators like Ixia and Spirent TestCenter (STC).
- Quality & Reliability:



Lead debugging efforts using tools like `gdb`, `valgrind`, and `AddressSanitizer (ASAN)`.

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years in network software engineering within data center or service provider domains.

Tech Stack:

- Robust proficiency in C programming, Linux environments, and shell scripting.
- Solid foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and low-level debugging.

Domain Expertise: Hands-on experience with EVPN VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, multicast protocols, and Broadcom SDK/CINT.

Standards Compliance: Ability to translate RFCs and networking drafts into robust, production-grade software features.
