Role Overview

As a Computer Teacher at Divine Touch, you will bridge the gap between our cultural roots and modern infrastructure. You will be responsible for introducing students (Nursery to Class VIII) to the world of technology in a way that aligns with our philosophy of holistic growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Modern Instruction (Vidya) : Teach fundamental computer literacy, including MS Office, creative digital tools, and age-appropriate coding (Scratch/Basic Logic).
- Balanced Digital Exposure : In line with our philosophy of "thinking beyond the box," you will guide students away from passive screen time (like video games) toward active, creative use of technology.
- Lab Stewardship : Oversee the school’s computer lab, ensuring the modern infrastructure is well-maintained and used as a tool for "Activity-Based Learning."
- Cyber-Ethics : Incorporate lessons on digital safety and ethics,



reinforcing the school’s focus on character building and moral values.
- Collaborative Workplace : Work within our "family-like" atmosphere, coordinating with other teachers to integrate technology into projects like Vedic studies or extracurricular presentations.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Technical Skills : Proficiency in MS Office, basic hardware troubleshooting, and educational software.
- Education : A degree in Computer Applications (BCA, B.Sc CS) or equivalent.
- Cultural Alignment : A deep respect for Indian culture and the school’s spiritual/holistic approach.
- Communication : Ability to communicate clearly in English; knowledge of Telugu is beneficial for connecting with our younger "family members."
- Experience : Previous experience teaching primary or middle-school students is preferred.
