Job Summary
The PRT Computer Science Teacher is responsible for introducing basic computer knowledge and digital skills to primary students. The teacher will create an engaging learning environment that helps students understand fundamental computer concepts, develop logical thinking, and use technology responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science to students of Classes I-V as per the school curriculum.
- Plan and deliver interactive lessons, activities, and practical sessions in the computer lab.
- Develop students’ interest in technology, coding basics, and safe internet practices .
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Maintain discipline and ensure proper usage of computer lab equipment .
- Keep records of student performance and progress .
- Participate in school meetings, trainings, and academic planning sessions .
- Assist in organizing technology-based activities, competitions, or projects for students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent.
- B.Ed. preferred .
Experience
- 1-3 years of teaching experience in Computer Science at the primary level preferred.
- Femals are only preferred
