Job Brief

We are looking for a professional and welcoming Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our physiotherapy clinic. You will coordinate patient appointments, manage clinical records, and ensure our patients feel supported from the moment they walk through the door.

Responsibilities

- Patient Coordination : Greet patients, manage check-ins/check-outs, and schedule follow-up appointments using our clinic management software.
- Billing & Insurance : Process payments (debit/credit), issue invoices, and assist with insurance claim submissions (e.g., motor vehicle accidents or workers' comp).
- Administrative Support : Maintain digital patient files, ensure privacy compliance, and assist physiotherapists with basic room turnover or administrative tasks.
- Clinic Flow : Manage the waiting area and ensure the daily schedule runs on time by communicating delays to patients.

Requirements & Skills

- Experience :



Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare administrative role is preferred.
- Tech Savvy : Proficiency in clinic management software
- Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate "bedside manner."
- Organization : Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Knowledge : Basic understanding of physiotherapy terminology and insurance billing processes is a plus.
