Role Overview

The Cashier is responsible for handling customer billing transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering a seamless checkout experience. This role ensures proper cash handling, billing accuracy, and adherence to company policies in a high-value retail environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Billing & Transactions

- Process customer purchases using POS systems (cash, card, UPI, and other payment modes)
- Generate accurate invoices for jewelry purchases

2. Cash Handling & Reconciliation

- Handle cash, digital payments, and card transactions securely
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and maintain accurate records
- Report any discrepancies to store management immediately

3. Customer Service

- Provide a courteous and skilled checkout experience
- Address billing-related queries and resolve issues promptly




- Coordinate with sales staff to ensure smooth customer flow

4. Compliance & Documentation

- Follow company policies for billing, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain records of transactions and required documentation (KYC, invoices, etc.)
- Ensure adherence to financial and audit guidelines

5. Support Store Operations

- Assist in managing billing counters during peak hours
- Coordinate with inventory and accounts teams when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing area

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
