Role description : Primary Skills: AWS cloud/dev ops/terraform/python

- Description:

- Responsibilities

- Cloud Governance & Compliance Frameworks

- o Design, implement, and maintain secure and compliant AWS cloud environments aligned to NIST, HITRUST, and other applicable regulatory/industry frameworks.

- o Establish and operationalize cloud governance models across multi-account AWS environments.

- o Define and maintain cloud security standards, policies, procedures, and governance documentation.

- Policy-as-Code & Guardrails

- o Implement policy-as-code and enforce preventive/detective guardrails at scale.

- o Develop, manage, and maintain governance controls using AWS-native services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- AWS Security Controls & Services

- o Manage and continuously improve AWS security controls including:

- IAM, Service Control Policies (SCPs), AWS Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty

- o Ensure secure account baseline configurations, access controls, logging/monitoring, and configuration management across environments.

- Continuous Compliance Monitoring & Reporting

- o Enable continuous compliance monitoring, drift detection, and control validation using AWS tooling and automation.

- o Maintain compliance dashboards, reports, and metrics for leadership and audit stakeholders.

- o Manage exceptions, risk acceptances, and remediation tracking aligned to governance processes.

- Risk Management & Control Mapping

- o Perform cloud risk assessments and identify control gaps; recommend and implement mitigations.

- o Map controls to frameworks (e.g., NIST / HITRUST)



and maintain traceability (requirements controls implementation evidence).

- Audit Readiness & Evidence Support

- o Support audit readiness across AWS multi-account environments through evidence collection, documentation, and control narrative development.

- o Partner with security, risk, and engineering teams to address audit findings and drive timely remediation.

- Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- o Automate governance/security control implementation using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.

- o Standardize reusable templates/modules for compliant cloud deployments and account baselines.

- QUALIFICATION

- Must to have:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) in information security, computer science, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in cloud security, governance, risk, and/or compliance.

- Strong hands-on experience securing and governing AWS environments (including multi-account setups).

- Proven experience with AWS security/governance services: IAM, SCPs, AWS Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty.

- Experience implementing policy-as-code, cloud guardrails, and continuous compliance monitoring approaches.

- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and/or CloudFormation.

- Ability to perform control mapping, maintain compliance documentation,



and support audits (evidence collection, control testing support, remediation tracking).

- Required certifications:

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)

- AWS Certified Security - Specialty

- Nice to have:

- CISSP, CISM, HITRUST CCSFP, and/or formal NIST framework training.

- Prior experience supporting compliance in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance).

- Experience integrating compliance checks into CI/CD workflows and automated reporting.

- EXPERIENCE
