Job Summary

The Sales Executive - Fertilizers is responsible for driving sales and market penetration of fertilizer products within the assigned territory. The role involves working closely with dealers, distributors, and farmers to promote products, ensure availability, and achieve sales targets while building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Target Achievement

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for fertilizer products
- Drive primary and secondary sales through dealers and distributors
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet targets

2. Dealer & Distributor Management

- Appoint and manage dealers/distributors in the assigned territory
- Maintain strong relationships to ensure consistent product movement
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely stock replenishment

3. Farmer Engagement

- Conduct farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and crop seminars
- Educate farmers on fertilizer usage, dosage, and benefits
- Build trust and long-term relationships with farming communities

4. Market Development





- Identify recent business opportunities and expand market reach
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and product performance
- Promote new product launches and campaigns

5. Product Promotion

- Execute promotional activities such as field days, demo plots, and campaigns
- Support branding initiatives at dealer outlets and rural markets

6. Collections & Credit Control

- Ensure timely collection of payments from dealers/distributors
- Monitor outstanding dues and adhere to credit policies

7. Reporting & MIS

- Maintain daily activity reports, sales data, and market intelligence
- Provide regular updates to management on territory performance

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field (B.Sc. Agriculture preferred)
- 0-3 years of experience in fertilizer/agro-input sales

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
