Role Overview

The Principal will serve as the academic and administrative head of the institution, responsible for strategic leadership, regulatory compliance, academic excellence, faculty development, and overall institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and research
- Implement curriculum as per PCI and affiliating university guidelines
- Promote innovation, research activities, and industry collaboration

Administration & Governance

- Oversee day-to-day academic and administrative operations
- Develop institutional policies aligned with regulatory norms
- Lead accreditation processes (PCI, NAAC, etc.)

Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with norms of Pharmacy Council of India , AICTE (if applicable), and affiliating university
- Handle inspections, documentation, and statutory approvals

Faculty & Staff Management

- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and staff




- Foster a culture of professional development and teamwork

Student Development

- Ensure quality education and discipline
- Promote placements, internships, and student welfare initiatives

Strategic Development

- Plan institutional growth, recent programs, and infrastructure development
- Build industry and academic partnerships

Qualifications (As per PCI Norms)

- Ph.D. in Pharmacy (mandatory)
- First Class B.Pharm and M.Pharm in relevant specialization
- Minimum 15 years of teaching/research/industry experience , including 5 years as Professor or equivalent

Skills Required :

- Strong leadership and decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of pharmacy education regulations
- Administrative and financial management skills
