Amgen seeks a Level 4 Data Engineer in Hyderabad to design and build data solutions, ETL pipelines, and data governance frameworks. The role involves working with large datasets, cloud platforms, and AI technologies to deliver actionable insights for business decisions.

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes across systems

Build and optimize data solutions for collection, processing, and quality assurance

Implement data security, privacy measures, and governance frameworks to protect sensitive information

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Architects, Business SMEs, and Data Scientists

Identify and resolve complex data challenges; explore tools to improve platform performance





Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 5-9 years experience

Hands-on expertise with big data platforms including Databricks and Apache Spark

Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools; solid data governance knowledge

Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts

Familiarity with Python/R, AWS cloud platforms, and AI/LLM implementation

Data protection and compliance regulations knowledge (preferred certification in Databricks or cloud environments)
