About the job
Deccan Terrain Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in Tally. The candidate should have a positive understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial records, and day-to-day accounting operations.
Important: Practical working experience in Tally is mandatory. Candidates without Tally experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities

1. Manage all accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records using Tally.
2. Prepare financial statements, accounting reports, and summaries for management review.
3. Handle accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, bills, receipts, and payments.
4. Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, journal entries, and other financial transactions in Tally.
5. Conduct regular financial analysis, identify variances, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
6. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning and decision-making.
7. Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.

Assist with GST-related accounting, tax documentation, and TDS compliance.

1. Maintain and organize invoices, vouchers, bills, and other supporting financial documents.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information, guidance, and accounting support.
3. Participate in internal and external audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures.
4.



Monitor outstanding payments and receivables and follow up as required.

Ensure timely, accurate, and systematic maintenance of all accounting records.
Required Qualifications and Skills
B.Com or a relevant qualification in Commerce or Accounting is preferred.
Minimum 1 year of practical accounting experience.
Tally experience is a must.
Good knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and ledger management.
Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Working knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.
If you possess strong knowledge of Tally, MS-Office, MS-Excel, and accounting principles, along with excellent written and spoken English proficiency, we want to hear from you! Skill(s) required
