About the Role : We are seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer with a strong foundation in application development and cloud technologies. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining distributed, large-scale, microservices-based applications that power our Cloud Native Application Protection Platform. This is a great opportunity to work on high-impact problems at the intersection of cloud, security, and scalability.Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, distributed applications and data-pipelines.- Build and optimize microservices-based architectures using Go.- Integrate with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM, Oracle) to deliver secure and scalable solutions.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver APIs and backend services.- Apply Agile practices and test-driven development to ensure high-quality code.Requirements :



- Minimum 5 years of core software development experience.- Robust expertise in Go for building distributed, large-scale data-pipeline or applications.- Solid experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or IBM, Oracle).- Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or Graph databases.- Experience with microservices and API development.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test-driven development.- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Server-less).- Experience working with distributed teams across geographies (ref:hirist.tech)
