Role : Technical Scrum MasterJob Description:We are looking for an experienced Technical Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery, remove impediments, and enable engineering teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, technical project delivery, sprint management, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on continuous improvement and predictable outcomes.Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring meetings are purposeful and outcome-oriented.- Support engineering teams in following Agile principles and practices across Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks, where applicable.- Protect the team from unnecessary external disruptions and help maintain focus on sprint commitments.- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlogs, ensuring user stories have clear requirements and acceptance criteria.- Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, burndown and burnup charts, and other Agile metrics to identify risks and improve delivery predictability.- Track dependencies, risks, and blockers across teams and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.- Support teams in improving estimation, sprint planning, backlog management,



and overall delivery efficiency.- Communicate sprint status, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress to relevant stakeholders.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Technical Scrum Master, or in a similar Agile delivery role.- Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum practices, and Kanban methodologies.- Familiarity with SAFe and experience working in scaled Agile environments, where applicable.- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for sprint tracking, backlog management, and documentation.- Understanding of Agile metrics, including team velocity, burndown charts, burnup charts, and sprint performance.- Experience identifying and resolving impediments, managing dependencies, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.- Ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand software development workflows.- Strong facilitation, communication, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management skills.- A continuous-improvement mindset with the ability to use data and team feedback to improve delivery processes.- Experience supporting distributed or hybrid engineering teams.- Relevant Agile or Scrum certification, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Qualified Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe certification.Immediate (ref:hirist.
