We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Engineer with strong expertise in data testing, SQL, Python, and AWS cloud services.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating data pipelines, testing ETL processes, and ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems.Key Responsibilities :- Perform ETL and data warehouse testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.- Write complex SQL queries to validate data, perform reconciliation, and identify data mismatches.- Use Python scripting to automate data validation and testing activities.- Test data pipelines and workflows running on AWS cloud services.- Validate data completeness, accuracy, integrity, and transformation logic.- Identify, document, track, and report defects, and coordinate with development teams for resolution.- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data,



and test execution reports.- Perform regression testing and support end-to-end data validation.Required Skills :- Solid experience in ETL Testing / Data Testing.- Hands-on expertise in SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data reconciliation.- Working knowledge of Python scripting for test automation and data validation.- Experience with AWS services used in data processing, such as S3, Glue, Redshift, or Athena.- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.- Experience in defect management and test documentation.Preferred Skills :- Experience in automating ETL test cases using Python.- Knowledge of data quality testing and large-volume data validation.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test management tools (ref:hirist.tech)
