Job Description Service Engineer - Electrical

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer - Electrical to join our Electrical Department

.

Key Requirements:

- Installation and commissioning of heavy machines at customer sites, ensuring proper machine integration, alignment, testing, and smooth operation.
- Carry out machine erection, installation, and commissioning activities as per technical specifications and drawings.
- Diagnose complex technical issues, perform troubleshooting and repairs, and minimize machine downtime.
- Conduct machine receiving, inspection, and site readiness checks before installation and commissioning.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, including General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), for machine installation and layout understanding.
- Understand and interpret civil foundation drawings to ensure proper foundation preparation and readiness before machine installation.




- Coordinate with customers and internal departments to resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion of site activities.
- Apply logical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective technical solutions, even under pressure.
- Travel frequently to customer sites for machine installation, erection, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures during all site service activities.

Required Candidate Profile:

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 4-6 years of experience in machine maintenance.

Technical Expertise: Basic knowledge of Fanuc & Siemens CNC machines and electrical systems.

Skills: Solid communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Willingness to travel extensively
