Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst NRI PIS Application

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 3–5 Years

Role Purpose

To ensure end-to-end quality assurance of the NRI PIS application through functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing support, ensuring a defect-free and compliant solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

- Review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories.
- Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
- Validate application flows across integrated systems.

Defect Management

- Log, track, and retest defects.
- Coordinate with development and vendor teams for issue resolution.
- Verify defect fixes and conduct regression testing.
- Ensure timely defect closure and reporting.

UAT Support

- Support business users during UAT execution.
- Prepare UAT test cases and execution reports.
- Coordinate issue tracking and resolution during UAT cycles.

Quality Governance

- Ensure adherence to testing standards and processes.
- Maintain testing documentation and evidence.
- Participate in release readiness reviews and production validation activities.

Reporting & Coordination





- Prepare daily and weekly testing status reports.
- Track testing progress against project timelines.
- Coordinate with Product, Business, Vendor, Development, and Support teams.

Required Skills

- Solid experience in functional testing and defect management.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and STLC.
- Experience in preparing test cases and execution reports.
- Knowledge of API testing and integration testing.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Trading Platforms, Mutual Funds, or Investment Products.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, DevOps, ALM, or equivalent tools.
- Exposure to automation testing, performance testing and API testing tools such as Postman.

Educational Qualification

- BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA or equivalent degree.
