JOB DESCRIPTION: EXPORT MERCHANDISER

Position: Export Merchandiser
Department: Export / Merchandising

Reporting To: Merchandising / Export Manager

About the Company

This company is engaged in the export business. The export merchandiser will be responsible for coordinating export orders, communicating with international buyers, and ensuring timely execution and shipment of orders.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with international buyers regarding product requirements, specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Handle export orders from order confirmation to final shipment.
- Coordinate with production, sourcing, sampling, quality control, and logistics teams.
- Follow up on samples, approvals, production timelines, and shipment schedules.
- Prepare and maintain export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping-related documents.
- Monitor order status and ensure timely dispatch as per buyer requirements.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain buyer correspondence, order records, and merchandising reports.
- Resolve order-related issues and ensure effective communication between buyers and internal teams.
- Ensure adherence to buyer specifications,



quality standards, and export timelines.

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline; a qualification in export management, international business, or merchandising would be an advantage.
- 36 years of relevant experience in export merchandising.
- Experience in handling international buyers and export orders.
- Knowledge of export documentation, shipping procedures, and order coordination.
- Valuable communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, and order-tracking systems.
- Strong coordination, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
