Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Accounts Payable to lead end-to-end AP operations, vendor management, payment processing, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and team management. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, expertise in GST and TDS, and experience in managing vendor payments, reconciliations, MIS reporting, and internal financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and reconciliations.
- Review and approve vendor invoices and payment runs as per company policies and the authorization matrix.
- Monitor AP ageing, outstanding liabilities, vendor advances, and payment schedules.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve escalated queries, discrepancies, and payment disputes.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Review GST input tax credit documentation, TDS deductions, and vendor master data.
- Prepare and analyse MIS reports, AP ageing reports, expense analysis, and payment forecasts.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities,



including provisions, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, operations, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and working capital management.
- Lead and supervise the accounts payable team, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of activities.
- Strengthen internal controls, implement SOPs, and ensure adherence to accounting policies.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP system enhancements.
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and provide the required documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; M.Com, MBA Finance, or CA Inter preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, or General Accounting.
- Prior experience in team handling and managing end-to-end AP operations.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, vendor reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or other ERP/accounting systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and expertise in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and audit processes.
- Robust leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in process automation and ERP implementation will be an added advantage.
