NAC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Implementation:
- Design and deploy NAC solutions to control access to the network based on security policies.
- Configure NAC systems to authenticate and authorize devices and users accessing the network.
- Integrate NAC solutions with existing network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.

- Policy Development and Management:

- Develop and maintain NAC policies to enforce security requirements and compliance.
- Work with IT and security teams to ensure policies align with organizational objectives.

- Monitoring and Maintenance:

- Monitor NAC systems to detect and respond to unauthorized access attempts.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to NAC systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve NAC-related issues, working with vendors as necessary.

- Security Compliance:

- Ensure NAC systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

- Documentation and Reporting:





- Document NAC configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Generate reports on NAC activities, incidents, and performance for management review.

- Education: B.Tech/BE

Experience:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security or related roles.
- Proven experience with NAC solutions (e.g., Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Fortinet FortiNAC).

Skills:

- Robust understanding of network security principles and practices.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing NAC systems.
- Experience with network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
