Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Certified Medical Coder role based in Kanayannur. The Certified Medical Coder will review clinical documentation and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes in accordance with payer and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include verifying medical records for completeness, ensuring coding compliance, and supporting accurate billing and claims submission. The role involves collaborating with physicians, billing teams, and auditors to resolve coding queries, reduce denials, and improve revenue cycle performance. The coder will also stay current with coding updates,



payer policies, and industry standards to maintain high levels of accuracy and quality. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess robust Medical Coding skills, including proficiency with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Candidates should possess solid Coding Experience in clinical or hospital settings, with exposure to billing and RCM processes.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Health Information Management principles and practices relevant to coding and documentation.
• Candidates should possess comprehensive Medical Terminology understanding to interpret clinical documentation accurately.
• Candidates should possess recognized credentials such as RHIT or equivalent medical coding certifications (e.g., CPC, CCS) where applicable.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clinical and billing teams are highly desirable.
• A diploma or degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
