Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Scrap Business Manager. The Scrap Business Manager will oversee end-to-end scrap trading operations, including sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers and buyers across domestic and international markets. The role involves analyzing market trends, pricing, and demand to develop profitable trading strategies and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include managing contracts, coordinating logistics and documentation, monitoring quality and compliance standards, and resolving operational issues in collaboration with internal teams and external partners. The Scrap Business Manager will also maintain detailed performance reports, support risk management,



and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and profitability. Qualifications
• Solid skills in market analysis, pricing evaluation, and trade strategy development for scrap and related commodities.
• Experience in supplier and buyer relationship management, including negotiation, contract handling, and vendor performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of logistics, documentation, and regulatory compliance associated with scrap trading and export/import operations.
• Ability to work with data and reporting tools to track volumes, margins, risks, and operational performance.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for remote work with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
• Proven organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
• Prior experience in scrap trading, metals trading, recycling, or commodity trading is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort with digital tools and remote collaboration platforms, and readiness to operate independently with accountability.
