Role Description The Gold Loan Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at the CSB Bank branch in Bathinda. The role involves interacting with customers to explain gold loan products, assessing eligibility, and guiding applicants through documentation and approval processes. The Gold Loan Officer will evaluate gold ornaments, coordinate with appraisers as needed, and ensure accurate entry of loan details into the bank’s systems. Responsibilities include monitoring repayments, managing renewals and closures, handling customer queries and service issues, and adhering to internal risk, compliance, and security guidelines.



The role also includes supporting branch sales activities, cross-selling relevant banking products, and contributing to branch targets while maintaining high service standards. Qualifications
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and explain financial products clearly.
• Basic knowledge of retail banking operations and loan processes; prior experience in gold loans or secured lending is an advantage.
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy for handling cash, assessing loan eligibility, and maintaining records.
• Ability to work on-site in Bathinda, collaborate with branch teams, and meet performance and compliance expectations.
• Proficiency with banking software and standard office applications, along with familiarity with regulatory and security norms.
• Minimum educational qualification typically at graduate level in any discipline; additional certifications in finance or banking are beneficial.
• Integrity, reliability, and a customer-centric approach, with readiness to work flexible hours as per branch requirements.
