Role Description The HVAC Project Estimation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This position is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects, including material, labor, and equipment requirements, based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions. The role involves reviewing HVAC designs, performing quantity take-offs, and coordinating with design, procurement, and project execution teams to align estimates with technical and commercial requirements. The engineer will participate in client meetings, clarify technical queries, support bid preparation, and update estimates as project scopes evolve.



Daily tasks also include maintaining estimation records, ensuring adherence to company standards, and supporting value engineering and cost optimization efforts. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in HVAC Engineering and practical understanding of HVAC systems and components.
• Proficiency in HVAC Design and familiarity with industry standards, codes, and guidelines.
• Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for interpreting and reviewing HVAC layouts and drawings.
• Knowledge of Maintenance & Repair practices for HVAC systems to support realistic and accurate lifecycle cost estimation.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in project estimation, cost analysis, or tendering within MEP/HVAC contracting environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and MS Excel skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and coordination skills for working with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and collaborate in a fast-paced project setting.
