Description

The role involves leading requirements gathering and discovery workshops with stakeholders and SMEs. Responsibilities include documenting current and future county processes, workflows, data flows, and key system artifacts. The consultant will create functional and technical specifications with clear acceptance criteria, lead fit-gap analysis, option evaluation, and end-to-end functional solution design for enhancements and projects.

Key duties include configuring and supporting Oracle Finance across Oracle Cloud and R12 (Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, General Ledger). The consultant will partner with developers, data analysts, and testers to deliver solutions on time and aligned to requirements. They will apply system settings and options, troubleshoot issues by analyzing setups, data, and end-to-end process flows, and plan and execute testing (test strategy, scripts, functional testing, UAT support, and traceability to evidence).

Additional responsibilities include supporting release readiness (cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare stabilization as applicable), supporting integrations and data activities by defining requirements, validating results, and partnering with technical teams on troubleshooting. Maintaining system documentation (process diagrams, data dictionaries, user guides, and training materials) is also required. The consultant will evaluate and recommend third-party solutions or technologies that support business process improvements as applicable.

Experience Required

- 7 years of relevant experience in Oracle ERP implementation, support, and/or business systems analysis.
- Robust functional expertise in Oracle Finance and Procurement, specifically Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger.




- Experience working in environments with both Oracle Cloud and Oracle R12.
- Working knowledge of basic SQL and relational table concepts for troubleshooting and data validation.
- Strong understanding of SDLC concepts and system testing and quality assurance principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (able to translate between business and technical audiences).

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Coupa and/or Concur.
- Oracle Procurement Purchasing functional knowledge.
- Experience supporting integrations and data loads (for example, file-based imports, interface troubleshooting, reconciliation).
- Experience documenting end-to-end business processes and controls.

The consultant is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and designing technology-based business solutions to solve complex business problems within the Oracle ERP Finance domain. This role leads requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, and delivery activities across Oracle Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite (R12), partnering with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to understand processes and system artifacts (configurations, integrations, and reporting dependencies) and deliver measurable improvements.

Desirable Skills

Experience with digital SaaS ERP Oracle Financials Cloud, Oracle EBS Sourcing, and Oracle eBS R12 Financials.
