Description: Role Descriptions: DB2 UDB Database AdministrationDB2 Installation Performing upgrades of the database into Higher Version and applying the Patch Service Pack in Database Perform database enhancement and modification as per the requirements Maintain database security and disaster recovery procedures Backup of Database through TSMBackup and restoration of DB2 databases Manages DB2 table changes to support application design and development efforts Managing schema objects| such as tables| indexes| and views Assist in capacity planning| space management and data maintenance activities for database system performance issue and troubleshootingDB2 HADR SETUP and maintaining dbs between primary secondary nodesDB2 REPLICATION between SQL and DB2SQL Server integration and Reporting ServiceDB2 Service Monitoring and tunnning Assist in implementation of current features and program fixes in databases Monitor databases regularly to check for any errors such as existing locks and failed updates
